Qatar condemns deadly suicide attack in Somalia

Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing of a market in Wanlaweyn town in southern Somalia, killing at least 10 and wounding several others on Wednesday afternoon.

In statements yesterday, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives or reasons.

The statements expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the governments and people of Somalia wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Qatar is one of the Arab Countries supporting the Federal government of Somalia amid a diplomatic spat with United Arab Emirates [UAE].
