Southwest State president holds talks with local authorities in Hudur

The newly elected president of Southwest State, Abdiaziz Lafta Gareen has held talks with local authorities and elders in Hudur on the first day of his two-day visit to Hudur district.

The president who was elected on 19th December in Baidoa city following an election said his trip is based on the assessment of the current situation in Bakol region.

The security of the town has been extremely tightened by the regional forces backed Eithiopian soldiers to prevent possoble Al-Shabaab attacks.

Southwest president is expected to be innaguarted in Baidoa in the coming days and top central government leaders are likley to attend the event, according to the sources.
